A section of a major road in East Sussex has been closed in both directions due to a multi-vehicle crash.

Traffic data supplier Inrix says the A26 is closed between the B2192 junction and Wellingham Lane near Stoneham.

The AA said it first received a report of the crash shortly before 17:30 BST on Thursday.

Sussex Police has been contacted for more information.
