A woman has been sexually assaulted in Tunbridge Wells, police have said.

The attack happened while she was walking along Sandrock Road between 18:30 and 19:00 GMT on Tuesday evening.

Kent Police said she was approached by a man near the junction with College Drive, who touched her inappropriately over her clothes before leaving the scene in the direction of the town centre.

The suspect was described as a white man, around 5ft (1.5m) tall, of slim build, wearing a dark Adidas hooded top and gloves.

Witnesses and anyone with dashcam or doorbell camera footage of the incident or suspicious activity in the area around the time on 5 November have been asked to contact police.
