Strong winds cause Isle of Man ferry cancellations
Strong winds over the Irish Sea have led to the cancellation of evening and overnight ferry services between the Isle of Man and Lancashire.
The Manxman's journey to Heysham at 19:45 BST along with its 02:15 Douglas-bound return have both been scrapped.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company said the sailings had been suspended due to "forecast adverse weather".
The vessel is next scheduled to sail on Thursday morning, leaving Douglas Harbour at 08:45 for the Lancashire.
The evening's sailing of the fast craft Manannan from Liverpool to the island is still scheduled to set sail at 19:15, arriving back in Douglas at 22:00.
