A man has died after being hit by a car in St Ives, police have said.
He and another pedestrian, a woman, were taken to hospital after the crash involving a grey BWM 1 series on Trelyon Avenue at about 19:45 BST on Tuesday 30 April.
The man passed away in Plymouth's Derriford Hospital on Tuesday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
The woman remained in hospital with life-changing injuries, they added.
The force said the 45-year-old male driver of the car was arrested at the time of the collision on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention.
He is currently on bail.
Police have asked for any witnesses to the incident that have not come forward to contact them.
