Man dies in hospital after serious assault

A man who was seriously assaulted earlier this month has died from his injuries.
Hampshire police were called to Kent Street in Southampton at 20:00 BST on 14 May, following reports of a serious assault.
Fuzel Miah, 44, from Southampton, was taken to hospital where he has now died.
Ashley James Lear, 35, of Kent Street, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and remains in custody. He is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 24 June.
