A man has been arrested after shots were fired at a house and a car.

Armed police were sent to a property on Ingram Crescent, Dunscroft, Doncaster, at about 19:00 BST on Wednesday, police said.

A 34-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of firearms with intent.

He remains in police custody, South Yorkshire Police added.
