Boy, 9, in life-threatening condition after crash
A nine-year-old boy is in hospital in a life-threatening condition after being hit by a car.
Police said a red Toyota Yaris struck the boy at the junction of Melton Road and Folder Lane in Sprotbrough, Doncaster, on Tuesday at about 08:40 BST.
The boy was taken to hospital where he remains, South Yorkshire Police said.
The driver of the Toyota had stopped at the scene to assist officers.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, especially those with dashcam footage, are asked to get in touch with the force.
