Man suffers 'life-changing' injuries in dog attack
A man has suffered "life-changing" injuries after being attacked by a dog in Doncaster.
The victim was attacked by the animal in the Cusworth area of the city on Saturday and taken to hospital, South Yorkshire Police said.
The force has not released any details about the breed of dog involved.
Julien Lever, 29, and Alison Hodkinson, 57, both of Wroxham Way, in Cusworth, have been charged with owning/controlling a dog dangerously out of control causing injury and possession with intent to supply drugs.
The force said Mr Lever had also has been charged with assaulting an emergency service worker.
They are both due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 19 December.
