Man arrested after boy assaulted at football match
Police are investigating after a teenage boy was assaulted during a youth football match.
The incident happened at Hertford Heath Park, Hertfordshire on Sunday 4 February.
The 14-year-old was playing when he was reportedly kicked in the shins and punched in the face by a spectator.
A 75-year-old man from Bishop鈥檚 Stortford was arrested on Friday on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm.
Hertfordshire Police said the attack had had 鈥渁 detrimental impact on the victim, who is being supported by local officers鈥.
They are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
