PC accused of sexual assault appears in court

A police officer accused of sexual assault has appeared in court.

PC Dan Gentles of Warwickshire Police appeared at Coventry magistrates鈥 court on Wednesday, charged with sexually assaulting a woman while on duty in May 2023.

PC Gentles, a response officer covering the north of the county, was bailed to appear at Warwick crown court on 13 March.

Warwickshire Police confirmed he had been suspended pending the outcome of case.
