Motorcyclist left with serious injuries after crash

A motorcyclist has been left with serious injuries after a crash in Plymouth.
The collision took place on Western Approach, at about 20:40 BST on Thursday and involved a black Honda CBR 600 motorcycle.
A 35-year-old male rider was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. Police are appealing for witnesses.
Officers have thanked the public for their patience and are appealing for any witnesses that have not already spoken to them, to contact Devon and Cornwall police.
