Drink-drive arrest over car and motorbike crash

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash between a car and motorbike in Wolverhampton.

The 37-year-old was detained at the scene after the incident involving a Volvo and motorbike on Raby Street on Wednesday evening.

He was recorded as being more than twice the drink-drive limit, West Midlands Police said.

He remained in custody on Thursday and was helping police with inquiries, the force added.

West Midlands Ambulance Service has been contacted for more information.
