Murder charge over death of man found in street
A man has been charged with murder following the death of another man found seriously injured in a street in Hebden Bridge.
Police were called just before 21:00 BST on Saturday to reports of a fight between two men in Crown Street.
A 52-year-old man, who was found at the scene unconscious and with a head injury, died in hospital on Monday, according to West Yorkshire Police.
Kyan McWhir, 31, of Vernon Place, Todmorden, appeared at Bradford Magistrates' Court earlier charged with murder and has been remanded to appear at Bradford Crown Court on Friday.
