Plans for new village sports pitch

A new community sports pitch could be created in a Herefordshire village.
Plans have been put forward for a new multi-use games area at the recreation ground in Ewyas Harold.
The facility would offer tennis, netball, basketball, hockey and five-a-side football.
The parish council, which is behind the proposal, said the venture would attract both children and adults while only needing 鈥渕inimal maintenance鈥.
Under the plans, the pitch could be rented out to outside teams in a bid to raise revenue for the village.
An existing car park would also get another 10 spaces as part of the plans, bringing the total to 40.
This news was gathered by the Local Democracy Reporting Service which covers councils and other public service organisations.
