Girl, 15, seriously hurt in attack involving dog

A 15-year-old girl has been seriously injured in an attack involving a dog.
Emergency services were called to Port Clarence, near Stockton, on Monday evening and teenager was taken to hospital.
A search for the animal, described as a male "XL Bully" type dog and aged between four and five years old, was launched.
Cleveland Police confirmed a dog had been seized on Tuesday and inquires were ongoing.
The girl remains at the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton, with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The force said it was urging anyone with information to contact them.
Nobody has been arrested.
