Woman required surgery after 'bottle stabbing'

Officers believe a woman who was found injured in a Nottingham street was stabbed with a glass bottle.
The woman was found injured in Gilead Street, Bulwell, near the police station, shortly before 06:00 GMT on Friday.
Police believe she may have been assaulted in Lillington Road.
The woman was given first aid at the scene before she was taken to hospital.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police said.
Det Ch Insp Ruby Burrow said: "The victim, who suffered an injury to the side of her body, has had minor surgery in hospital to remove some glass from her wound.
"She remains in a stable condition."
Police described the investigation as "extensive" and urged anyone with any information to come forward.
