Woman suffers leg injuries in hit-and-run
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman sustained leg injuries in a hit-and-run.
The woman was walking home in Nottingham with her husband and daughter shortly before 17:00 GMT on Monday.
As they crossed Sellers Wood Drive, in Bulwell, she was hit by a car but, after briefly stopping, the driver left, Nottinghamshire Police said.
The victim was taken to hospital but there have been no further details released about her condition.
PC Amelia Newman, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened, and we would particularly like to speak to anybody who captured CCTV or dashcam footage.
"If you were the driver of the car, then we would urge you to come forward and get in touch with us."
