A man in his 20s died after a "medical incident" at the Boomtown music festival, police have said.
The festival-goer was transferred to hospital from the site near Winchester on Saturday evening and pronounced dead in the early hours of Sunday.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the death was "unexpected" and officers were preparing a file for the coroner.
Boomtown, which is hosted at the Matterley Estate in the South Downs National Park, is in its 16th year and more than 60,000 people were expected to attend.
In a statement, a Boomtown spokesperson said: 鈥淲ith sadness we confirm a man in his 20s died on the evening of Saturday 10 August after attending Boomtown.
"Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all those who knew him.
"We are supporting the police with their inquiries, and with respect for his family, no further comment will be made.鈥
