A man has admitted assaulting an emergency worker during unrest in Bristol.

Terrell Morris, 31, of Horfield, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Friday where he pleaded guilty to affray and the assault.

Avon and Somerset Police said 51 people have been arrested and 42 charged in connection with the disorder, which happened when two groups of protesters gathered near Castle Park on 3 August.

Morris will be sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on 18 October.
