A woman has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a mum in a four car-crash.

Jacqueline Mwila, 51, of Mount Pleasant, Swansea, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Monday.

She admitted causing the death of Emma Louise Morris, 28, from Pwllheli, Gwynedd, on 3 April last year by driving dangerously on the Felinheli bypass.

She also admitted to causing serious injury by dangerous driving to James Walsh.

North Wales Police previously said the crash involved a dark grey Audi A3, a BMW 1 series, a Peugeot 208 and a Skoda Octavia.

A four-year-old boy was taken to Alder Hey children鈥檚 hospital, Liverpool while a woman was airlifted to hospital at Stoke-on-Trent but was later discharged.

Two other people were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, with serious injuries.

Judge Nicola Saffman adjourned the case for sentencing and warned to defendant an immediate custodial sentence was "inevitable".

Richard Dawson, defending, sought a report by the probation service.

A family tribute said Ms Morris was 鈥渁 beautiful friend and everyone who knew her will miss her smile, warmth and sense of fun.鈥
