A man repeatedly phoned and emailed a woman and then threatened to share her intimate photos if she refused to respond, a court has heard.

Lyndon Jepson, 47, from Rhondda Cynon Taf, admitted harassing and threatening to share intimate images of the woman.

Over a 19-day period he called the woman 374 times, left her 10 voicemails and sent her 198 e-mails, Merthyr Tydfil Magistrate鈥檚 Court was told.

The court heard the woman suffered a "significant level of distress". Sentencing was adjourned until 4 October.

District Judge Neale Thomas told Jepson that "you have pleaded guilty, which is important because you accept you are in the wrong".

The charges were serious he said, "and made worse by the significant previous conviction you鈥檝e got鈥.
