Attempted murder charge after men stabbed in neck

A man has been charged with attempted murder after two men were stabbed in the neck on a petrol station forecourt.

Police said the attack happened at BP in St Thomas Road, South Wigston, Leicestershire, just before 23:30 GMT on 3 November.

The victims were later discharged from hospital.

A 20-year-old man, of no fixed address, is accused of two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a knife in a public place.

He appeared before magistrates on Thursday, when he was remanded in custody to appear at Leicester Crown Court on 2 January.
