Woman, 29, arrested after two-year-old dies

A 29-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a two-year-old died.
The child was found injured at Juniper Square, a new residential area in Hemel Hempstead, at about 16:40 BST on Sunday.
Hertfordshire Police said the child was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
The woman was arrested in connection with the death and has been kept in custody.
Armed police were dispatched to the scene to provide specialist first aid with equipment carried in their vehicles.
A police spokesperson said: 鈥淎 child was taken to hospital for emergency treatment but unfortunately died a short time later.
鈥淎 29-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident and an investigation is now under way by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire major crime unit.
"She remains in police custody at this time.鈥
