NHS offers free diabetes checks

Free health checks to assess people's risk of diabetes will be offered in Wolverhampton.
The service will be held in a mobile testing bus at various locations in the city, offering conversations and finger prick blood tests to test for early signs of the condition.
Diabetes is , with symptoms including feeling very thirsty and tired, the NHS said.
Locations for the checks include Bentley Bridge car park on 13 June and Marston Road Tesco car park on 14 June, from 09:00 to 17:00 BST.
Blood pressure checks, body mass index (BMI) checks and cholesterol testing will also be available, all of which can be early indicators of developing type 2 diabetes.
People can be signposted to a healthcare professional or appropriate sources of help depending on their risk, Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust said.
The van will also be available in Dudley on 19 June.
