Festival organisers in crackdown on ticket scammers

The organisers of a Moray music festival have said they have a team constantly monitoring social media amid warnings of scammers trying to sell tickets.
The MacMoray Festival takes place in Elgin on Friday and Saturday but some online posts have been flooded by profiles attempting to sell fake or duplicate tickets for the event.
Scouting For Girls, Peter Andre, The Drifters and Blue are among the acts set to perform.
Festival organiser Andy MacDonald said the team has "got good" at spotting scammers after months of research.
He added: "If someone pops up saying they are selling a ticket we look into that person and block them, as well as any account they create.
"Once you do that, they all slow down.
"I actually tried to buy a ticket from a scammer to understand what they do, so that helped give us more knowledge and understanding."
The team behind the festival has advised people to not buy any QR codes being sold online.
Festival-goers can collect wristbands in advance of the event.
Anyone trying to buy a wristband has been told to buy it from someone they know or to do so in-person.
Mr MacDonald said the festival would be "packed" with the 10,000-capacity Cooper Park close to a sell-out.
