Girl, 4, injured in hit-and-run as appeal launched

Police are appealing for witnesses after a four-year-old girl was injured in a hit-and-run.
She was treated in hospital for minor injuries after the incident, which happened on Rochester Drive, Ellesmere Port in Cheshire on Thursday just before 16:30 BST.
The girl has since been discharged.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the driver of a black car failed to stop, and made off towards Thornton Road.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said enquiries were ongoing and appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage or CCTV footage to contact the force.
