Police have appealed for witnesses after a "distinctive" motorbike was stolen in an area of Jersey.

States of Jersey Police said a yellow mini moto motorbike was taken from an address at La Pouquelaye in St Helier at some point in the past two weeks.

Officers said the vehicle is believed to have been ridden on the road over recent days, including in St Helier town centre at about 21:00 BST on 3 September.

A spokesperson for the force said the motorbike was "significantly smaller than a standard motorbike and the rider would likely not be wearing a helmet".

Police urged anyone with information to contact them.
