Motorcyclist suffered fatal head injuries in crash
A motorcyclist who was involved in a crash in the west of the Isle of Man died from head injuries, an inquest has heard.
Nesta Haselden died in the collision between a motorbike and two cars near Queen Elizabeth II High School on the A1 Douglas to Peel road at about 16:20 BST on 7 August.
The 21-year-old, who worked as a private banker and youth worker, lived in Peel.
Coroner Rebecca Cubbon said a police investigation into Mr Haselden's death was ongoing.
The court heard Mr Haselden, who was born in Burnley in Lancashire, died from head injuries consistent with a road traffic collision.
Adjourning the inquest at Douglas Courthouse, Ms Cubbon passed her condolences on to Mr Haselden's family.
