Search under way for missing man after cliff fall

Emergency services are searching for a man who reportedly fell from a cliff in north Devon, Falmouth Coastguard says.

Emergency services were called to Welcombe Mouth, near Bideford, at about 22:00 BST on Thursday.

The search resumed at first light on Friday.

Police and paramedics are at the scene, and rescue teams from Cornwall, Wales and Devon are helping with the search.

Coastguard helicopters from Newquay, in Cornwall, and St Athan, in Wales, and rescue teams from Hartland, in Devon, and Bude, in Cornwall are at the scene.

Devon RNLI crews from Appledore, Ilfracombe and Clovelly are also helping.
