Arrest over death of man near primary school

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man near a West Lothian primary school.

Gary Nicol, 50, was found with serious injuries in the Bankton Lane area of Livingston at about 02:00 on 26 September.

He was pronounced dead at the scene near Williamston Primary School.

Police said inquiries were ongoing.
