A minute's applause is to be held at Leeds United's match against Burnley in memory of a six-year-old boy who died from cancer.
The club said everyone had been "truly heartbroken" to learn the boy, named only as Bob, had died.
The Elland Road side said the youngster had spent time with the players and manager Daniel Farke, adding his "heart-warming smile and infectious laugh" had inspired the team.
The club has encouraged supporters to join in with the applause in the sixth minute of Saturday's match.
"Everyone at Leeds United were truly heartbroken to learn of the passing of young supporter Bob," the statement said.
"Bob proudly went out with the team ahead of our pre-season friendly with Valencia CF, accompanying his favourite player Illan Meslier onto the pitch.
"The two would reunite shortly afterwards, when Bob and his family were invited to Thorp Arch for a behind-the-scenes tour."

The statement added the applause would "celebrate the life of a true inspiration and member of the Leeds United family".
"RIP Bob, you will always have a place in our hearts," it said.
