A teenager has been charged with the murder of a 25-year-old man who was stabbed outside a shopping centre.
Tom Ellis sustained a fatal knife wound outside the Ropewalk shopping centre in Nuneaton on Saturday.
A 16-year-old boy, from Nuneaton, has been charged with his murder and is due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on Friday.
Four other boys, who were allegedly present during the incident, were identified and arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 15-year-old boy has since been released without further action, and a 14-year-old boy and another 15-year-old boy have been released on bail.
In addition to the previous four arrests, another 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder on 11 June.
Det Insp Gareth Unett, of Warwickshire Police, said: "The thoughts of Warwickshire Police continue to be with the family and friends of Tom, during this incredibly difficult time.
"I would also like to thank the community for all their support, and continue to appeal for anyone with information to get in touch.
“Court proceedings are now active, so I would also like to remind everyone that due to the defendant’s age they legally have anonymity, and that any attempt to breach this anonymity would compromise the trial.
"It’s important we now allow the criminal justice process to perform its role."
