Staines woman taken to hospital after fire
A woman has been taken to hospital after a fire broke out in a residential property.
Four fire engines were sent to Thorpe Road, Staines, after the blaze started at about 12.30 BST, Surrey Fire & Rescue said.
Once the fire was tackled and the area made safe, it said crews left at about 14:40.
Surrey Police, which also assisted, said a woman in her 70s was taken to hospital for treatment.
