Third man arrested over Greenock death
A third man has been charged in connection with the death of Michael Beaton in Greenock.
The 35-year-old was found with serious injuries on Drumfrochar Road at about 19:20 on Sunday 26 November last year.
He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he died a few hours later.
A 19-year-old man is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court later.
Two other men - aged 22 and 25 - have already appeared in court in relation to the death.
Police Scotland said their initial inquiries showed that Mr Beaton was struck by a vehicle and then attacked with a bladed weapon.
Nearby St Patrick's Primary School was closed for the day after police cordoned off neighbouring streets.
