Woman arrested after man dies following stabbing

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 61-year-old man died following a stabbing.

Hertfordshire Police was called to reports of a serious assault at Walden End, Stevenage, at 23:53 BST on Wednesday.

The man was taken to hospital and later died.

Police said they arrested a 34-year-old-woman, who was known to the victim, on suspicion of murder and she remained in police custody.
