A new employment hub has opened to help people into work.

It will be based in Wolverhampton's i10 building as part of the Wolves at Work programme run by the city council.

Anyone can call in at the new hub from Monday to Friday and speak with work coaches and recruitment staff.

Residents will also be offered dedicated work coaches who can provide support with CVs, job applications and interview practice, the local authority said.

The council hopes more than 1,200 people will pass through the doors of the site and an existing employment hub at Bilston Town Hall over the next year.

Wolves at Work has been delivered by the council since 2017.

About 700 people have been helped into work over the past year, the council said.
