Pedestrian, 80, dies after being hit by a car
An 80-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Wakefield.
The incident happened at the junction between Dewsbury Road and Waterton Road, on Friday 1 March at around 14:00 GMT.
The pedestrian was struck by a Vauxhall Astra and was subsequently taken to hospital, West Yorkshire Police said.
However, he died of his injuries on Saturday.
Officers have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
