Police officer denies GBH charge

A West Mercia Police officer has appeared in court to plead not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm.

PC Evan Jones, 22, was charged after an incident on 23 July last year, while he was off duty in Hereford.

Mr Jones, whose beat is in Herefordshire, appeared at Birmingham Crown court to deny the GBH charge.

He is now due to appear at the same court, for trial on 6 May 2025.
