Man arrested after Newquay stabbing
A man has been injured in a reported stabbing incident in Newquay on Saturday night.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to Central Square in the town at 23:10 BST on 6 July following reports of a fight.
The victim, a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
Police said a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and a 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
They said both have since been released on police bail until 3 October.
