West Mercia Police has appealed for witnesses to get in contact

A man was left with a broken eye socket and jaw after he was attacked when leaving a nightclub.

The man was hit in the head and was left unconscious for about 10 minutes, West Mercia Police said.

The victim had left Popworld and was heading towards Unicorn Hill in Redditch, Worcestershire, when he was assaulted during the early hours of Saturday.

The force said he had received injuries to his face, including his jaw being broken in two places.

Officers have appealed for witnesses or anyone with further information to get in contact.
