Two arrested after man stabbed in pub fight
Two men have been arrested after a man was stabbed during a fight in a pub.
The 38-year-old victim was found with knife injuries on Kirkgate in Huddersfield about an hour after the brawl which happened inside the Hart Bar on Cloth Hall Street at about 01:30 BST on Sunday.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious, but not life-threatening, injury.
Two men, aged 29 and 37, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remained in custody on Monday, West Yorkshire Police said.
A force spokesperson urged anyone anyone who saw the fight or has footage of the incident to contact the police.
On Sunday police cordoned off the pub and surrounding area but on Monday morning the street was reopened.
