Arrest after man stabbed at countryside inn
A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed in the hand at a hotel, police said.
They said the attack happened at about 13:30 BST at The Pear Tree Inn & Country Hotel on Smite Lane in Hindlip, near Worcester, Worcestershire.
The man who was stabbed was taken to hospital with injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening, West Mercia Police said.
A knife was recovered by officers who added a man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He remained in custody on Tuesday and a cordon was still in place around the scene, the force said at about 18:00 BST.
