A consultation is taking place into the potential closure of two Aberdeenshire schools.

Easterfield and Fisherford primaries have been mothballed since 2021 but councillors have agreed to push ahead with plans to permanently shut both of them.

The consultation runs until 29 March.

A public meeting regarding the proposed Easterfield closure will take place at Turriff Primary School on 5 March, with another the following day at the same venue to discuss Fisherford School.
