Former PC guilty of misconduct over racist images
- Published
A former police officer accused of keeping racist, transphobic and ableist images and memes on his phone committed gross misconduct, a professional panel has concluded.
The accelerated South Yorkshire Police hearing found the allegations against PC Lee Holt proven.
The panel concluded his actions had breached the standards of professional behaviour in relation to equality and diversity, authority, respect and courtesy and discreditable conduct.
The former officer would have been dismissed without notice had he not already resigned, the panel added after Friday's hearing.
