Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious crash on the A49 in Herefordshire.

It happened just before 23:00 BST on Wednesday at temporary traffic lights between Dinmore Manor Lane and Auberrow Lane in Wellington, West Mercia Police said.

Three vehicles were involved - a Hyundai Tuscon travelling south and a Vauxhall Corsa and Mercedes Vito Van, which were both travelling north.

Four people were injured and taken to hospital, including a woman with serious injuries, the force said.
