A fire which broke out at a car scrapyard in Plymouth has now been extinguished.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called shortly before 14:30 BST to reports of multiple cars alight at Breakwater Breakers in the Cattedown area of the city.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene, and 13 scrap vehicles were destroyed by fire, the service said.

No injuries were reported, the service added.
