Man arrested after two hurt in crash
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after two people were hurt in a crash.
The collision, involving a blue Subaru and a blue VW Passat, happened at about 14:30 BST on Tuesday on Saltburn Road in Upleatham, near Guisborough.
Cleveland Police said the 20-year-old driver of the Subaru was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving.
The passengers of both cars were taken to hospital with potential spinal injuries, the force added.
The 20-year-old man was bailed pending further inquiries.
