A 19-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a man died following an alleged stabbing in Kent.

Paige Poulton was arrested after Jack Cadwallader was reportedly assaulted outside a property in Southfields Way, Harrietsham, at about 01:30 BST on Tuesday.

Mr Cadwallader, 25, died in hospital later the same day.

Ms Poulton, of Southey Road in Haringey, London, will appear before Margate Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

A man who was arrested after the incident has been released without charge.

Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate says its investigation into the incident is ongoing.
