Man arrested after eight geese found dead

A man has been arrested after a crash that led to the death of eight geese in Dartford.
The 19-year-old, who is from Dartford, was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty and driving without a licence or insurance, and bailed until 25 October.
Kent Police said the birds were found dead in Anchor Boulevard on Sunday.
Sgt Ross Haybourne, from Kent Police, said it was a distressing incident that had "caused considerable concern in the local community".
He said: "We will always investigate reports where wildlife may have been harmed deliberately."
