An assault at a pub left three men injured, prompting a police appeal for information.

It happened at about 01:40 BST on Sunday at the Ye Olde Vaults pub on Church Street, Oswestry.

West Mercia Police said two of the three men sustained serious facial injuries, which required hospital treatment.

Officers are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or the events that led to it.
